Product Information

This Astilbe japonica will certainly create an eye-catching display in your garden.

The 'Washington' has beautiful pure white spiked blooms that appear during the middle of summer and stand tall above shiny dark green foliage. They make excellent cut flowers but once faded, the old brown flower-heads provide winter interest. Extremely fragrant, they are very attractive to bees and butterflies.

Perfect for traditional cottage gardens, water gardens and cut flower gardens, they really are a versatile choice. They are a long-lived hardy perennial which will thrive in both full sun and shaded corners, but don't let the soil dry out, keep them well-watered.

Supplied as 3 x established plants in 9cm pots, ready to plant out.
