Packhouse Supervisors
Gedney Hill Nursery, Lincolnshire

The Role

  • Responsible for managing a small team of experienced and professional staff

  • Good IT systems knowledge and skills including word and excel.

Picking Supervisor
Gedney Hill Nursery, Lincolnshire

The Role

An exciting, high-profile role in a fast-paced horticultural business which offers the opportunity to be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of our stock picking area.

Responsible for managing a team of experienced and professional staff, you’ll be dedicated to providing a first-class service to our customers while meeting strict deadlines and reducing costs. A great team leader and confident communicator, you’ll be eager to learn new skills and gain new experiences in a busy, fast-paced environment.

The role will operate across a number of shifts with weekend working during our peak season, so you'll need to be adaptable and flexible in your approach.

Must Haves:

To apply for this exciting and challenging role you will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience of operating in a supervisory capacity within a fast paced, highly pressurised horticultural environment. A keen interest in horticulture is also necessary as you will be working with our range of plants.

A qualification and/or knowledge of LEAN management techniques plus good IT systems knowledge and skills including word and excel would also be an advantage although not essential as on the job training is available.

Salary

£21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year depending on experience.
