The Pensham series of Pentsemon were specially bred in Worcestershire by renowned breeder Edward Wilson, to suit the British climate.
Tougher, more compact and longer-flowering, the Pensham variety of Penstemon are far superiour to others so it's no wonder why they're so popular among gardeners far and wide. Many of their striking flowers also have larger white throats than their older relations making them a real stand out bloom.
Their spires of gorgeous deep coloured flowers simply keep on coming from May to Autumn, and they are so very easy to grow, and hardy in well-drained spots too.
Varieties included; Czar, Amelia Jayne, Laura, Plum Jerkum
Don't be in a hurry to cut down old growth in the autumn. Wait until the following April/May as the stems provide protection for the crown of the plant.
