Description

This Flamingo Willow Tree changes its foliage season-by-season, erupting in a cloud of unique colour, remaining interesting into autumn, before returning with fresh growth next year.

This delightful tree brings a refreshing splash of soft pink, white and green to any space and is one of those varieties that's always in demand - and it's easy to see why.

Grown as a standard tree with a neat lollipop shape and strong central stem, it brings instant height and structure to your borders or patio pots without needing acres of space.

What really sets this tree apart is its foliage. In spring, the young leaves emerge in a marbled rosy pink, green and white. As summer comes along, the variegation matures, becoming mainly green by the end of the season. The tree drops its leaves in autumn and rests for winter, ready for fresh growth in the new year. Yellow catkins decorate the bare stems, even before the leaves emerge.

It's not just beautiful, it's easy-going too. This tree is fully hardy, takes well to pruning, and thrives in most soil types. It also responds brilliantly to regular shaping, so you can keep that rounded canopy neat and fresh year after year.
