• Wipe the leaves occasionally with a damp cloth to remove dust and maintain their natural shine. This also helps the plant absorb light more efficiently.
• Mist the foliage lightly in summer to increase humidity, especially in centrally heated rooms.
• Repot every 2-3 years into a slightly larger pot using quality houseplant compost when roots start to fill the container.

• On Arrival: Your Dieffenbachia 'Tropic Snow' will arrive as a strong, established houseplant in a 19cm nursery pot, ready to enjoy straight away. Carefully remove any outer packaging and check the compost. If it feels dry to the touch, give it a light drink of water, allowing any excess to drain fully before returning it to its sleeve or placing it into a decorative cover pot. Avoid letting it sit in standing water.
• Where to Place It: This tropical evergreen thrives in bright, indirect light. It's happiest near a window with filtered sunlight, such as behind a sheer curtain, but should be kept out of direct sun which may scorch the leaves. It also dislikes cold draughts, so avoid placing it close to doors or radiators. It grows well at typical household temperatures, ideally between 18-24C.
• Pot Covers: Your Tropic Snow will look stunning displayed in one of our decorative pot covers. Choose a cover around 20-22cm in diameter to allow space for drainage and airflow. Neutral tones, woven styles or metallic finishes really highlight the creamy variegation of the leaves and give a modern, tropical look to your display.
• Watering and Feeding: Keep the compost evenly moist, but not wet. Water thoroughly when the top few centimetres of compost feel dry, and always let excess water drain away. In winter, reduce watering slightly as growth slows. Apply a liquid fertiliser monthly in spring and summer.

Most orders are sent on a fully-tracked courier service with Yodel. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, no signature is required, and our courier is asked to leave your order in a safe place on your property.

We'll send a tracking link when we dispatch your order, so you know when its due to arrive. Please note, once delivered we cannot be held responsible for loss or theft from your property. If you have any specific delivery instructions, please let us know - there's an option to enter a short message for the courier at the checkout.

Smaller, lighter, single-item orders may be sent through the post with Royal Mail - in which case no tracking is available.

Our experienced nursery team will always send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive when you plant them, so although most plants are very tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme frosts or heatwaves, we avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme weather is forecast, or over Bank Holiday weekends.
