Variegated Rubber Plant 'Tineke'

• When your plant arrives: Unpack your Rubber Plant straight away and remove all packaging from around the pot and foliage. Check the compost, it should feel just slightly moist to the touch. If it's dry, give it a light drink of water, then let any excess drain away fully before placing it. Never let the pot sit in water for long periods, as this can cause root rot.
• Where to place it: Choose a bright spot with plenty of natural, indirect light. A few feet back from a sunny window is ideal. Too much direct sun can scorch the leaves, while low light can dull their colour. Ficus 'Tineke' prefers stable, warm indoor conditions, ideally between 16-24C.
• Displaying your plant: Your plant comes in a 17cm nursery pot, ready to display. For an instant style upgrade, pop it, nursery pot and all, into one of our decorative indoor pot covers. A neutral finish works beautifully with the cream, green and blush tones of its leaves. Choose a cover just slightly larger than the nursery pot it is supplied in.
• Watering: Allow the top few centimetres of compost to dry out before watering again. When you do water, pour slowly and evenly, then drain thoroughly.

Most orders are sent on a fully-tracked courier service with Yodel. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, no signature is required, and our courier is asked to leave your order in a safe place on your property.

We'll send a tracking link when we dispatch your order, so you know when its due to arrive. Please note, once delivered we cannot be held responsible for loss or theft from your property. If you have any specific delivery instructions, please let us know - there's an option to enter a short message for the courier at the checkout.

Smaller, lighter, single-item orders may be sent through the post with Royal Mail - in which case no tracking is available.

Our experienced nursery team will always send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive when you plant them, so although most plants are very tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme frosts or heatwaves, we avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme weather is forecast, or over Bank Holiday weekends.
