Fully double, rose-like blooms in rich reddish pink, lighting up your garden when most shrubs are fading. For reliable late summer colour, you really can’t beat a chiffon Hibiscus – and this latest shrub has a bold new colour!
From mid-summer into September, large multi layered flowers open in abundance, each one packed with ruffled petals that resemble old fashioned roses. It’s genuinely astonishing how much colour you get at a time of year when gardens often look tired.
'Red Chiffon' is fully hardy, upright in habit and easy to manage. It forms a neat deciduous shrub that reaches around 2 to 2.5 metres tall, making it ideal as a specimen, a focal point in a mixed border, or even trained as part of a flowering hedge or screen.
Lobed green foliage keeps it looking smart through the season, and the late flowers provide valuable interest for pollinators. Imagine stepping outside in late August and seeing those bold double blooms glowing against the fading light.
Supplied as an established plant in a 3 litre pot, ready to plant.

We'll send a tracking link when we dispatch your order, so you know when its due to arrive. Please note, once delivered we cannot be held responsible for loss or theft from your property. Smaller, lighter, single-item orders may be sent through the post with Royal Mail - in which case no tracking is available.
Our experienced nursery team will always send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive when you plant them, so although most plants are very tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme frosts or heatwaves, we avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme weather is forecast, or over Bank Holiday weekends.
Please note, we cannot guarantee delivery on a certain day or time. Delivery to outlying postcode areas may take 1-2 days longer, dependent on your location.
