An outstanding hydrangea with satisfying white-to-green flowerheads, which open and remain impressive for months of the year, from June to October.
Double white flowers open from green buds atop healthy, oak leaved foliage, and are so closely packed with florets they form an almost ‘spongey’ texture to the touch, and remain picturesque throughout summer, and into autumn.
Also known as the ‘Oakleaf Hydrangea’, the green leaves of this hardy herbaceous perennial transform in autumn, as they darken to bronze, with red hues, before falling at the start of winter.
The long stems of the florets last very well in a vase, making this variety perfect for cutting and placing on the windowsill or mantlepiece – so make sure to plant plenty to share with family and friends!
Unlike other varieties of hydrangea, once this plant has established, it will become tolerant to drought. For best results, make sure to grow in moist and well-drained soil, in either a sunny or partially shaded spot.
Supplied as an established plant in a 9cm pot, ready to plant out.
Add Mycorrhizal fungi to the roots when planting to help plants establish quicker.
