Product Information

The rich, dark purple leaves of the Euphorbia 'Miner's Merlot' offer all-year round interest, whilst the warmer months boast stunning summer flowers.

Being extremely drought tolerant, it's easy to understand why this purple beauty is known for being one of the easiest perennial plants to grow.

Hardy to withstand freezing temperatures down to -15C, 'Miner's Merlot' is a vigorous grower that is also ideal for attracting friendly pollinators into your garden.

Eye-catching colours and strong stems make it the perfect choice for any border, planter, or container and can even be used as an accompaniment to cut flowers! 'Miner's Merlot' is great in pots and containers but also magnificent in rockeries or simply used as ground cover.

Boasting everchanging foliage colour, ranging from deep purple to hues of olive-green, providing drama and resulting in some striking colour combinations.

Supplied as three established plants in 9cm pots, ready for planting.

Top Tips

No special care required - this really is the perfect option for the most casual of gardeners! Can be cut back by a third after flowering to prevent seeding. Damaged stems can be cut off in spring

Care Information

Position in a sunny spot of moist, well-drained soil. Space 45cm apart. Cut back the faded flower stems when they start to die back. When working with spurges, always wear gloves since the milky sap is poisonous and a potential skin irritant. Remove unwanted seedlings each spring as part of routine border maintenance.
