Few plants are more versatile than hollies, with their textural leaves, ornamental berries, and easy care, it is easy to see why they're so popular with UK gardeners.
This lovely silver-white, variegated broad-leaf holly adds a new dimension to the Christmas classic, giving you foliage interest all year round.
The variegation of Ilex aquifolium 'Argentea marginata' adds a unique brightness and lightness to the tree, setting off the berries well. Having coloured leaved, it is a little less vigorous than other hollies, and bears smaller crops of berries too, however this is more than made up for in the colour.
Grow as specimen trees and use the clear trunk to add a sense of height to borders, or grow in pairs in large pots either side of porches or doorways and gates. This holly also makes a very thick hedge too.
Very hardy and tough, it requires almost no maintenance each year, which has earned it the RHS Award of Garden Merit, so you can be sure that it will perform in your garden.
