This scrumptious pear variety produces large crops of elegantly long, tapering fruits with clear white flesh that are ready to pick from September each year. Each one is packed with an incredibly sweet, irresistible juice – you wont be able to stop yourself eating them straight from the tree! Try to save some for later, though, as they will make wonderful desserts for your Christmas parties!
'Concorde' is perfect for gardeners to grow because it is very heavy cropping and the fruit will keep for over 2 months when picked unripe.
It is self-fertile and grown on dwarfing rootstock so it will always be compact, reaching a maximum of 2.5-3.5m (8-12ft) tall within 10 years, and, of course, it can be pruned down to a size suitable for even the smallest of gardens!
Supplied as a 90-110cm tall, grower quality, multi-branched, pot-grown tree.
Grown on dwarfing Quince A rootstock. Will grow to approx. 2.5-3.5m (8-12ft) in 10 years.
