Description

Premium-look Dahlias, and a brand-new introduction! Check out the two-tone blooms that erupt through summer, lighting up a plant of deep, dark foliage.

This truly is one of the most exciting new patio dahlias to arrive in years. It has already been named BBC Gardeners’ World Live ‘Best New Plant’ for 2025, and it only takes one glance to see why.

Big, luxurious flowers glow in rich plum and pink tones, all set against velvety dark bronze foliage. The contrast is extraordinary and makes a real statement from the very first bloom.

This variety delivers everything gardeners want in a compact plant. It stays neat, upright and robust. The flowers are fully double, measuring up to 10cm across, and they appear in big numbers from June right through to October. The foliage intensifies in long sunny spells, making the whole plant look even richer as summer rolls on.

It also brings real confidence to the patio. The mildew-resistant nature means the plants stay clean and healthy without fuss. They perform brilliantly in containers, baskets and borders, giving months of colour with very little effort. Anyone can grow it and enjoy a premium display.

For gardeners wanting bold summer colour in a compact shape, this is the variety that delivers it all.

Top Tips
If you find that earwigs are a problem, the organic way to control them is to position pots filled with straw upside down on canes spaced around your dahlias.
Care Information
  • Dahlias perform best when potted up initially in March or early April, into large pots (2 - 3L) filled with multi-purpose compost.
  • Place in a light, frost-free place and keep moist, they'll quickly form bushy plants by the time the frosts have ended, ready to be planted out into the garden.
  • In the garden, dig a hole at least 30cm wide x 30cm deep for each one, spacing each plant 75cm apart.
  • If you don’t have anywhere to start them in pots, you can place straight into the ground when the frosts are nearly over.
  • Once a fortnight, feed them a liquid feed such as our Blooming Fast Superior plant feed.
  • During dry periods, water at least once a week.
  • Dahlias should be deadheaded regularly to encourage more blooms and you will need to stake the plants to prevent the flowers from breaking the stems.
Delivery Information

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. Pre-ordered items will be sent as soon as possible after the date quoted and we'll generally ship your entire order with your pre-ordered items. When your order is dispatched, we'll send you another email with details of how to track it.

Most orders are sent on a fully-tracked courier service with Yodel. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, no signature is required, and our courier is asked to leave your order in a safe place on your property.

We'll send a tracking link when we dispatch your order, so you know when its due to arrive. Please note, once delivered we cannot be held responsible for loss or theft from your property. If you have any specific delivery instructions, please let us know - there's an option to enter a short message for the courier at the checkout.

Smaller, lighter, single-item orders may be sent through the post with Royal Mail - in which case no tracking is available.

Our experienced nursery team will always send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive when you plant them, so although most plants are very tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme frosts or heatwaves, we avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme weather is forecast, or over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please note, we cannot guarantee delivery on a certain day or time. Delivery to outlying postcode areas may take 1-2 days longer, dependent on your location.
