Product Information

Late spring and early summer glory flows from this delightful ‘Pink Cloud’ variety of Kolkwitzia amabilis, commonly known as a ‘Beauty Bush’.

Be amazed when May and June roll around, as the arching stems of this deciduous bush smother themselves in an abundance of small, trumpet-like flowers in a deep pink shade.

Even as the summer deepens and the flowers fade, the remaining dark green foliage stays as healthy as ever and acts as a delightful backdrop for any other blooming beauties.

Ideal for gardeners of all abilities, this is a low maintenance shrub that is so easy to grow.

Very versatile, ‘Pink Cloud’ would be a welcome addition to larger borders or grown as a stand-alone feature plant.

Fully deserving its coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit, you can be sure that this is a proven garden performer, guaranteed to be suitable for UK gardeners at every level of experience. You can therefore plant this in the garden with confidence, for stunning displays for many years to come.

Supplied as 1 x 3L Pot.

Top Tips

After flowering has finished in the middle of summer, if the plant begins to clump, thin the stems by cutting back a third of the older stems to their base.

Care Information

  • This will tolerate being planted in a range of soils, from sand to chalk and clay.
  • Plant in well-drained soil in the sun or partial shade. Apply 5-7cm of garden compost to the base of the plant.
  • Do not fret when the shrub loses all its leaves in autumn, as this shrub is deciduous so the fresh foliage will return in spring.
