Plant Info

The splendid tayberry is a hybrid plant resulting from a cross between raspberries and blackberries and bear some resemblance to both it's parents.  the deep red fruit resemblee large blackberries but are sweeter and more aromatic and can be enjoyed picked staright from the bush when they ripen in late summer - to get the best flavour wait until the berries are really deep red before picking.

Grow in a sunny spot trained on a trellis, fence of best of all on wires against a sunny wall and you'll be picking ponds of fruit every year. Tayberries are easy to grow and problem free and the lovely blossom will attract many friendly insects to your garden. They're fully hardy too and will withstand the worst of winter cold.

+ Service rating : You Garden has started off well, with good speedy service (the delivery man could have been more polite though). Look forward to receiving more offers through the gardening year.
Product : I received a good healthy plant, however I didn't realise it had thorns on it - it didn't say this on the description of the plant.
