What Makes ‘Art Deco’ So Special?
The first thing you notice about ‘Art Deco’ is undoubtedly the colour. Each generous semi-double bloom measures around 6-7cm across, with clean white petals finished by sharply defined, vibrant pink edging.
Against the glossy, deep green foliage, the effect is wonderfully crisp and fresh. The flowers have real presence without looking heavy.
But Rose of the Year is about much more than an eye-catching flower. ‘Art Deco’ combines its distinctive appearance with excellent disease resistance, a naturally manageable Floribunda habit and an eventual height of around 80cm tall – so pots, borders or mixed beds are great for growing it.

One of the things we really like about ‘Art Deco’ is just how easy it is to find a home for it. At around 80cm tall, it has enough presence to make an impact in a border without becoming unruly, while its neat Floribunda habit also makes it a very good choice for a large patio pot.
You’ll be tempted to grow it somewhere the flowers can really be appreciated up close. Those crisp white petals and vivid pink edges deserve to be seen, particularly against the glossy, dark foliage. Give it a sunny position in fertile, well-drained soil and you should have a rose that looks every bit as good in a modern planting scheme as it does among more traditional cottage-garden favourites.
