Product Information

The star quality of Sambucus 'Sutherland Gold' is clear for all to see - with a rich plethora of golden foliage and dissected leaves.

The foliage grows with a copper red shade in spring as creamy white flowers flourish in mid spring, making this variety perfect for summer blooms.

Elderberries glowing with a red lustre develop in the summer, to help feed birds in the autumn. The continuous changes and developments are a real point of interest and can add rich variety to your garden.

Sambucus 'Sutherland Gold' would make a wonderful addition to mixed borders and hedges and can grow up to 4 metres once matured, in around 10 to 20 years.

What's more, this beauty is both bee and butterfly friendly, while also being perfect for deterring pests such as rabbits and deer. With its ever-changing appearance and low maintenance features, it’s an investment that’s well worth making for gardeners of all levels!

Supplied as an established plant in a 3L pot.
