One of the finest shrubs you can grow for spectacular Winter colour of both leaves and red berries, this should be in anyone's Winter garden.
Hardy and tough as old boots, it has a bamboo-like habit, with several upright stems from a clump. Spring and summer foliage is mid-green with the odd reddish or purplish tinge on new shoots. It produces small white flowers, but it really comes to life as the temperatures drop in Autumn.
The leaves turn spectacular bonfire orange red, perfect for Halloween and Autumn colour, and keep getting darker red as it gets colder. The flowers have turned to berries, which themselves get redder and redder too, so they are a frenzy of colour in full Winter.
Great as a specimen in a pot, so you can move it near the door to lift your spirits on dark days, or equally at home in the soil in a mixed border planting.
Service rating : Plants are usually good value and grow quite well but lately some have not been in the best condition on arrival. They seemed to have been in transit too long. Leaves have dropped off and the plant are very wilted.
Product : Was slightly brown at the edges but hopefully will perk up
Service rating : very pleased with service
Product : good healthy plant
I am so pleased with your service I have passed your name around to my friends and family, thank you so much for your service, I will use you again and again.
Many thanks and with kind regards.
|Great products and great service.|
Service rating : Plants have all been ok,however when you need aftersales service to rectify a minor problem I was made to feel like a criminal and that I wanted something for nothing, which I didn't. And this was by the customer service manager not a member of staff. I simply cancelled my membership and spent £306 with a competitor.
Product : No problems here
I am sorry if my response caused offence, however as I have repeatedly said, I think you totally misunderstood me.
We would have been more than happy to add the free plants from the offer you missed (when you entered the wrong offer code) to your next order, completely free of charge - which would have been an even bigger saving.
It's a shame that you focussed less on that than the fact that we didn't want to ship them separately at no cost, particularly since you expressed an interest in placing another order!
