‘Scandens Brasil’ is a gorgeous vine-forming Philodendron that can be trained up a support or grown in an indoor hanging basket and allowed to trail towards the ground.
This bright and striking houseplant boasts beautiful heart-shaped variegated foliage in lime green, yellow and dark green and pale yellow and green stems that will clamber and climb to a length of about 1.2m (4ft).
Also known as the Sweetheart Plant because of the shape of its leaves, it’s easy to see why this is such a popular houseplant. Found naturally in Southern Thailand and Malaysia, it looks wonderful with its handsome leaves and grows quickly during spring and summer. It is incredibly easy to care for, requiring a bright spot away from direct sunlight and slightly damp soil.
