Poor in almost every department
- Slow delivery
- Incorrect and confusing communication from the two Customer Services teams
- Disinterested Customer Services (phone team)
- Very poor Couriers
- Wouldn't use them again
At the beginning of June, I ordered a number of plants from YouGarden. Two weeks later (on 14th June 2018) I emailed YouGarden to ask where the plants were?
"all on their way - three parcels"
However, only one of the parcels arrived. So, I rang their Customer Services. Things went from bad to worse. Apart from being completely disinterested, they told me that one parcel had been shipped ... and another hadn't yet been dispatched.
Who was telling the truth? I never did find out.
When I said that wasn't good enough, I was told "I can only tell you what the computer says. We're in York. Not at the nursery. This is YouGarden's business model" (! no, really!)
When the parcels arrived, the plants were of such poor quality that a nu.mber of them were dying (and have died). How can you kill Hardy perennials? The Courier had damaged the box of one of the larger plants. The plant still has a 'piece' missing.
On 21st June 2018, I emailed a 'complaint'. This never did get fully sorted out.
After much delay and a 'holding' email from YouGarden, on July 9th, I made a request for replacement of the worst affected plants and a refund for one of the items
Eventually, on 16th July, YouGarden agreed to replace those plants. They ignored my request for a refund and sent more plants. At least their second attempt was better than the first.
So, I have given up on YouGarden. I certainly would never use them again.
Not a ball. Requested a replacement plant. The replacement was a good specimen. Pity you have to complain to get something decent.
