A spectacular Summer flowering Dogwood, widely regarded as one of the best varieties, it keeps on giving garden interest from May bract colour to the last vestiges of Autumn leaves falling.
Despite being quite fast-growing initially, it will reach 4-5M tall, making it an ideal smaller tree for lawn planting or as a border specimen. From May it is smothered in lovely blush-pink bracts, followed by inedible strawberry-like fruits. In Autumn, it comes back to life with a fiery yellow and orange foliage swansong until next season.
Very tough and easy to grow, colours are best in acidic (ericaceous) soils, this much sought after selection is sure to delight you for many many years.
