Product Information
A striking combination of yellow petals and an orange centre, this double-flowered osteospermum certainly has the WOW factor. Perfect for all manner of container displays and border planting, this is a variety that can’t be missed! With abundant heads of bloom to fill your pots, the cheery yellow blooms will be sure to attract plenty of wildlife into your garden as well as attention from your gardening friends!
This wonderful combination of colour makes the perfect summer combination and the daisy-like blooms of 'Banana Shake' are produced in profusion for months on end. Ideal for pots and borders, osteos are sun lovers, opening in response to the sun and grow best in moist, well-drained soil.
Flowering from spring to autumn, the uniform, compact plants will tolerate light frost as well as heat and drought, plus being easy to grow and needing very little in the way of aftercare, they're the perfect variety for your garden.

Care Information
- Unpack plugs immediately and stand them in water for an hour.
- If you can’t do this, they can sit in their mini greenhouse for a week if upright and not too wet.
- Plugs may be slightly dry or yellow after being in a dark box in the post, but they’ll quickly recover.
- Put them somewhere warm, light and airy such as a windowsill or greenhouse.
- When potting on, handle plugs carefully. Pot on using our 9cm pots in Shuttle Trays, using good multi-purpose compost.
- Give your plants a good water initially, then only when the top compost starts to dry. They don’t like to be left in standing water.
- Plant approx. 20cm (8in) apart to allow them room to grow.
- Feed using a high-potash feed such as Blooming Fast Superior Soluble Fertiliser for Flowers & Fruits, to encourage flowering.
- Dead head when flowers fade to encourage more flowers.
- Remember that plants are frost tender and should be protected from frost at all times.
- Best treated as an annual or alternatively grow in pots which you can move indoors in autumn.
