Ipomoea 'Electric Shock' is a vigorous twining climber which will reward you with a dazzling display of flowers in a range of 10 different, electrifying colours all summer and into early autumn.
The pointed buds unfurl first thing in the morning, hence Ipomoea's more common name 'Morning Glory', to reveal the showy, velvet-like trumpets in a distinctive range of blues and mauves.
Undemanding and easy to grow, Morning Glory ‘Electric Shock’ is an attractive annual climber that can be grown outdoors or in a cool conservatory.
Let Morning Glory scramble up walls and over fences or plant it against an obelisk for an eye-catching feature in borders and containers where the blooms contrast beautifully against the mid-green, heart shaped leaves.
Also, useful to soften hard landscaping, disguise ugly structures and to provide screening, this is a great plant to create new colourful displays in your garden in a single season each year.
